Ryan Seacrest is a very rich man.
The radio/TV host has signed a lucrative new deal that keeps him hosting American Idol through 2012 as well as participating in new projects.
Although the announcement specified no dollar figure, The Hollywood Reporter pegged the deal at $45 million.

Actually, word around town is that he is one of the hardest working people in show business. You don’t become a multi-millionaire by accident. I can’t help it - I like him.
This represents everything wrong with Hwood. On AI he’s okay, but everywhere else he’s a true bore and yet he’s filthy rich. Go figure!
I agree with the second post. He has made his money by working really really hard. All you have to do is watch the E! channel to realise that he basically runs the whole station. He has E! News of course and hes hosts all the red carpet things, but then he has the shows that he produces himself like the Kardashians and Denise Richards etc etc. He is not going to be going anywhere anytime soon. I don’t have a problem with him at all.
