janie, the pics we saw of her yesterday were going to the DMV, and picking up her friend. Does that qualify as out and about? I completely agree that she needs to get her shit together, but I don’t think that means she can’t leave her house. I’d love to see her leaving her house to go to a therapy session, but whatever.

I still don’t get why she stays in hotels. You would think that after all the time she has lived out of hotels she would love having a home with her own stuff in it.

Second, I’ve been married to a man with bi-polar disorder for 4 years, have read every book I can on it, have gone through individual therapy regarding it, and therapy with him regarding it. I know the fucking symptoms, so fuck you and shut your trap before you say shit about a disease you know nothing about. Maybe she doesn’t have it, but she’s got pretty much all of the symptoms of it. Oh, and third, I’ve also been clinically depressed and suicidal, and know enough about that, plus I’m a cutter. So I may not be a fucking doctor, but I know a whole lot more about mental illnesses than I ever thought I would. I wish I never had to have gone through the shit I’ve gone through but if you’ve been there, you can see the signs in other people. I refused help for a long-ass time, until I was just about to fucking kill myself. You haven’t been there, obviously. So screw you and say whatever you want, I’m done wasting any more of my time on you.

Hey, Starr……. you are right. It is not cool to make fun of someone with cancer, bi-polar, etc. But if the person has a problem and they are making no effort to do something about it, its open season. And , no, I do not know what Brit is doing about it, but I can only assume that with as well documented as her life is, the public would have some idea if she is seeking help. I don’t feel sorry for her, and I will not defend her in anyway. I AM bi-polar, and I can honestly say that she is the one that has to make the choice to get help. It doesn’t matter what anyone else says or does. You have to take a step back and look at your life and do it for yourself.
If she is bi-polar and refusing treatment they should never give her kids back. Ever heard of Andrea Yates?

^ I agree with you, too anonymous, if she is bipolar and doesn’t get treatment, she is not mentally stable enough to care for her kids. That’s why I am still with my husband, he was diagnosed, and while trying different meds, trying to get the right one, the right dose, it was hell, and his moods got so bad he got violent with me. But he immediately sought the help of both a psychiatrist and psychologist and things are so much better. The person has to realize they need help, and hopefully Britney does, or she will end up with a life of hell, or dead. I also worked with a person who was bipolar, and he put a gun in his mouth. So yes, I take this stuff seriously, and know more about it than I’d like to.
Thanks, PSL. Things are a lot better, I feel so much better. But it did take me hitting rock bottom for me to realize I needed help, even though my husband had been telling me for a couple of years. He actually called the police after I called him from work, telling him I was going to kill myself. I left work before anyone could get to me. Luckily, he and the police found me.
I honestly wish the paprazzi would stop taking this idiots’ picture. I guess they want to be the first to catch her final meltdown on film. She proves over and over that she has no class and no common sense.

I would probably be bashing her too, if I didn’t know what I know now about mental illness. If this were 5 years ago, I would be calling her all kinds of things. But I do think she’s sick, and I don’t think mental illness is taken as seriously as it should be. People think if someone is mentally ill it means that the men in white coats need to come and put you in a padded cell, and that just isn’t the case…that is such an old way of thinking. I don’t know. I just feel for her. She’s lost, and I’ve been there, maybe in a different way, but I’ve lost my way and can only imagine how much worse it is when everything is magnified.

Only that, whatever it is, will make her realize she needs to get help. I’m afraid it may take an overdose or something to knock some sense into her, but hopefully it isn’t a fatal one. She’s teetering on the edge.

He doesn’t really seem like he’s a guy she’s dating, more like someone that works for her. She should be careful about going out at night with a guy though and smiling because she should know how the tabloids will make that look. They will make it look like the day after Britney lost her kids she was out hooking up with somebody. While that could be the case, it could just be a case of Britney talking to her bodyguard or something. There’s a moment in the tape there where she looks down from the cameras and she looks absolutely crushed. The photogs are basically sitting on the bonnet of her care catching every single moment. While I think she’s done some crazy things, nobody knows what they would be like in her position. I do feel for her.
