While hubby Barack Obama was in L’Aquila for the G8 Summit, Michelle Obama visited the Pantheon in Rome today (July 9) with her daughters Sasha and Malia.
After her return to Rome from L’Aquila, the First Lady treated her girls to a private, 30-minute tour of the well-preserved ancient Roman monument.
This was their second early evening tour of archaeological Rome. At sunset on Wednesday, the lovely trio had a private visit of the Colosseum, the ancient arena.
Michelle and other first spouses toured the center of L’Aquila earlier today to see the destruction wrought by an earthquake in the Italian city hosting world leaders this week for the Group of Eight summit.

When Bush went to the Pantheon he kept asking, “Where are the panthers?!”
A) reggie, that was hilarious.
B) I love that the Obamas are so amazing that they are on celeb sites. The only time you saw Bush on a site like this is when he made an ass of himself.
C) Michelle is a good mom. The girl’s hair is neat and tidy and all three of them are wearing amazing shoes.
