Starring Ellen Page, the flick is about a rebellious teenager who signs up to play the brutal and sexy female sport against her mother’s will only to find friendship and freedom among the bruises and falls.
The movie was directed by Drew Barrymore. The 34-year-old Charlie’s Angels beauty has been producing films for years but this is the first time she’s decided to get directly behind the camera.
Says Drew: “Everything I’ve learned throughout my whole life has been going into this piggy bank, and I just smashed it all over the floor for this one.”

Ellen Page is probably the most overrated actress that has come along in years.
Is anyone really going to believe that the diminutive Page would be in this sport? I’m with Anonymous, another generic offering from Barrymore.
