This just in: While we’re all stressing over the fact that Britney Spears has lost her kids, it appears the babyless pop princess is remaining as cool as a cucumber.
Why, you ask? Her lawyers have apparently assured her that since she’s finally getting her act together (i.e. getting a valid license, agreeing to mandated drug tests, etc.), the judge will most likely reverse the custody order on Wednesday.
A source tells Us Weekly: “It has been a rough day. She is feeling very optimistic about the future.”
Our thoughts on the reunion? Is it what’s best for the kids? Or just what’s best for Britney?

If he has any brains at all he will not give them back for like a month of clean drug tests and her taking some parenting classes. She is not worried because she has never been held accountable for anything. She went tanning and THEN to get her drivers license because she is not worried. If she went to court tomorrow and the judge said no you still have some growing up to do it would shock her. It would be in everyone’s best interest.

I am in no way saying he is a model parent, but whenever he had custody of his kids, he was with his kids. Britney needs help as do most celebrities who have been shown over and over again that they can get away with everything until they run into someone who isn’t the least bit swayed by their status. That judge needs to go a step further and ask the many cops who has pulled her over in the last few years, why an effing report was written up when it was determined that she didn’t have a license. We all know she was pulled over and even after they whole, forward facing carseat incident that was *barely* investigated, you can’t tell me that no one knew ol’ girl didn’t have a license.

Careful you’ll make gang-banging sound respectable. Brit has a LA license valid until her birthday 2009 and she can drive just fine with it, Thank You’ and it has worked for routine stuff until she got checked out for the Hit&git and if the truth were known the cop probably told her to let someone else drive until she could get it straitened out the night she got stopped going to Vegas.

I hope this has been a wakeup call for her and I’m glad to see she’s trying to get her act together but I don’t think she should regain custody so soon. This whole mess needs to be sorted out and these boys need to stop being handed back and forth. It’s not good for them. I really think Britney needs to prove over a longer period of time (maybe a month or so) that she really has changed and its not just a temporary thing in order to get back her kids.
Well, if she thinks the can “get her stuff together” in just one day, the question of the day is:
Why hasn’t she done it before?
Of course, none of this is true, she will not get them back for a long time, if ever. First she has to go at least three months without drugs and prove it in random testings. I don’t think Bootney Germs is able to pull that off.
