In a new interview with Essence magazine, she reveals what’s up with her football player babydaddy, Daniel Smith. They were “high school sweethearts,” she says. They met at a high school party through mutual friends, when she was 13 and stayed together seven years. But now?
“Well, I am no longer married, but I think it’s very important not to dish details. We are friends and we coparent our son. When he gets older I don’t want him to read anything about me saying anything about his father or vice versa. When there’s a child involved I think the less information given is best.”
Any regrets. “No, I think every decision has made me who I am today. I’ve embraced everything because I know that only God can give life, no one else. I’m happy that I have a beautiful, wonderful, amazing child who’s made me a better person.”

Can you believe that she actually doesn’t think everything is AMAZING and GREAT like her sister. She has an opnion? Well that’s mighty fascinating. That’s AMAZING.

Lies. everyone knows it was a shotgun wedding and Daniel was never in love with her. He was a few years older and very popular, being that he was a stellar athlete and very attractive. Solange chased after him for years and finally he broke down and hit that, proabably cause she was giving him money and access to glitzy parties. She found out she was pregnant, which some say she did on purpose to get some attention from Mama and Papa Knowles who have always focused on their golden child, and her parents tried to force her to abort it. Beyonce also got pregnant when she was that age and got an abortion. Solange screamed on her parents that she was not gonna kill her baby like Beyonce did. So instead they forced her into marriage and made Daniel sign an air-tight prenup, knowing that the marriage would be over before it even began.
Tell me that’s her dad in with her in that picture! That couldn’t be the boy she married. And if that is her dad, they must have a weird Jessica and Joe Simpson relationship LOL.

That’s a good attitude for her to have and its refreshing to see someone worrying less about getting revenge on their ex and more about their child’s future. I don’t really know that much about her but she seems like a nice enough girl…much more down to earth than her sister. But I repeat the question above…WHY is she being interviewed?
