Be sure to tune into ‘Oprah’ today. Mum-to-be Halle Berry is going to “open up” about her baby news and her Canadian model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubrey.
In the hour-long interview, Halle tells O that she and Gabriel had been trying for some time to have a baby. “I’m sort of superstitious, so I saved all of the negative tests in a drawer,” she says. “Don’t ask! I don’t know why, but I did. … After about 35 tests, we finally got a positive test.”
So, has her hunky new beau and her impending pregnancy changed Halle stance on marriage? (She vowed to never get married again.) “What Gabriel and I have decided is we will just redefine marriage for ourselves. You know, that paper isn’t worth anything to me anymore. … I don’t want to do that again, so we have spent a lot of time talking about how can we redefine this. There’s all kinds of ways to commit to one another that doesn’t have to involve the government,” Halle says. “I feel more married in a way than I ever have in two marriages before.”

^I understand what you are saying psl. There is an impression given that all celebrity children are more important than the rest of the world. When was the last time an offspring of a major celeb did anything important like run for President? Uhm, never. They are just people. The way people worship at the feet of Shiloh freaks me the hell out.

I think HALLE is the one who needs to GET OVER IT. She’s not the only woman in the world to have a bad marriage, have bad luck at finding Mr. Right, have problems with their father, or get knocked up. She’s ALWAYS rambling on about her life and its many fuck-ups and then when the media seizes on her statements (like the whole suicide thing) she bitches and moans that they’re crossing the line. But who asked her to go on Oprah? Who cares? Have your kid and be done with it. Again, nobody gives a shit and it’s NOT newsworthy.

I personally think Halle has issues. For all her good looks, I have a feeling that she’s an insecure woman with low self-esteem and that’s why she’s been so unlucky in love. Let’s remember this is the same woman who came on Oprah several years ago to confess that she had tried to kill herself and her dog. Yet when that same dog was killed by a coyote or something a couple years ago we had to hear about how upset she was. Which is it??? I’m not bashing her or anything but there’s something not right about that chick.
women give birth every day….. and women die in childbirth every day. halle is at risk and her baby is at risk, because of age factors, health factors and (yes) race factors. they need all the good vibes and prayers they can get.
