At a time when women “wanted to throw themselves at (Michael) and feel like they were going to teach him” about sex, it was Brooke — “the most celebrated virgin ever” — who was by MJ’s side. (They attended the 1984 Grammy Awards alongside Webster star Emmanuel Lewis.)
Brooke adds that as the pop superstar grew up, “the more asexual he became to me.” Nonetheless he was curious about her early relationships.
“He was like a little kid who talked about the bases — what first base was, what second base was,” Brooke says. “It sounded very odd to the outside, I can imagine, but to the inside, to someone who’s never really left his bubble, you can understand how he would be curious.”
The last time Brooke saw Michael was at Elizabeth Taylor’s last recent wedding in 1991.
“We snuck in and took pictures of ourselves next to her dress,” she recalls. “We always seemed to revert to being little kids.”

I’ve watched a lot of documentaries and read a lot about Michael and while I’m sure it’s not all true, one thing that is consistent is that he didn’t have a very good childhood. He was terrified of his father and was stuck between his brothers and his father having sex in front of him with groupies and his Jehovah’s Witness mother who was completely against sex. I think that as he got older he saw sex as something very adult and something that destroyed families and caused problems in the world. I don’t think he ever saw it as something that could be a good thing, which is really sad. My heart goes out to Michael because I don’t think he was ever understood. Hopefully now he can rest in peace.
1991? They were hanging out long before 1991. It was more like the Academy Awards of 1984/85. You can tell it was the mid-80’s because of his face. It was that time line. He fucked it up around “Bad” in 1987. He was beautiful in 1983-85

IIRC Jackson got pissed at her because she said they were never real bf/gf. She was with Andre Agassi at the time and basically said what she said here. He wanted people to believe they had a sexual relationship and she wouldn’t play along. He stopped talking to her after that

The entertainment business, in all its incarnations and forms, is a distillation of what we really are, when all is said and done, as human beings. The average black man would have “banged” Brooke Shields. Period. She would have been “asexual” carrying a black baby.
Mike had issues that could have been solved. He desired to be weird. That’s what fame and money is for: to get the most beautful woman, wonderful home, and do things that working stiffs cannot do.
It’s weird that Brooke Shields spoke at his memorial because it’s well knon that her and Michael Jackson weren’t friends for years. Back in the early 90’s MJ claimed that Shields was his girlfriend and she publicly denied it. So why is she now using his death to bring publicity to herself? It’s all in bad taste.
None of the people at the memorial had met or spoke to Michael ever or in years , including Miss tearful Brooke Shields ( 18 years for her) These heartless people deserted him or just dismissed him …. why didn’t someone who realy cared , strap him down and try to get him help . It is ugly to hear your best friend or family member call you names through a withdrawal episode.. but I did it with someone I love , and guess what ? They are still here!!! Firstly it’s unkind for a ‘friend’ to tell the media someone was ‘asexual’. What if he was just to shy to do it or frigid from trauma or something? Assuming someone is asexual is like doubting they are human.
Anyway people assume he lost ‘it’ at 32 cos he said so…just cos he said so and could grab his crotch on stage. Ok. If he was a virgin I don’t think he would have admitted it given he was a the king of pop in a highly sexualized industry. Would his crown slip? I mean when 99.9% of the world is boasting about how much sex they’re getting. If he was a virgin I personally think he should have admitted it with pride. It’d be nice to know you have a role model who has strong values with regard to sex, just once in a while. I think he may have been pure his whole life esp when ex *wives* can’t make up their minds whether they even consummated their marriage lol! Some interviews they say yes but sometimes they say, or at least indicate no, they didn’t have sex or even live together. The use of a surrogate mother instead of old fashioned sexual intercourse just inflames my curiosity. I’ll mind my own business now.

Brooke loved Michael…she was a wonderful friend to him and even if they hadn”t seen each other in years it might have been because of there changing lives. Remember he had two marriages, children and many other problems. Beccause they didn’t spend personal time together doesn’t mean they didn’t keep in touch. If he was gay and felt the need to hide it, it breaks my heart. He deservided to live a life. He gave us all so much joy. If he was a pedofile, I pray for his soul.
I somewhat agree that michael jackson was asexual, he seemed like he was a true kid at heart and was kinda very religous also. So with those two combined, it kinda add up to asexuality.. actually, they saw each other at the Grammys in 1993, because if you go to youtube and search MJ receiving the Grammy legend award in 1993, you see Brooke Shields in the audience, clapping & taking a picture of MJ while hes onstage. so, technically, she saw him in person then.
&& also, in his famous interview with Oprah in 1993, she asks him if he dates, and he said yes, & she asked who do you date? & he said Brooke Shields, & that they go over each others houses to hang out. So obviously rolling stones got the date wrong

I really like Brooke Shields and Liz Taylor. Those who knew Michael Jackson closely speak from their heart of hearts. Those who only know his music tend to speak from their minds. It is naive to think that money will buy you happiness. It is also naive to think that money will buy you friendship. The love of money can be deadly.
