In a new interview with the AP, Paula Abdul says that her contract, which expired after the eighth season, has not been renewed.
But before you start celebrating, the 47-year-old judge of musical talent also adds that American Idol has invited her back for a ninth season and beyond — subject to the negotiation of a new contract.
Paula says she hopes a deal can be arranged so she can return to the hit show. We can’t say we do as well.
