despite the worldwide success of his blockbuster movie Star Trek, Zachary Quinto still lives in this $870 500 home in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles.

The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on 1505 square feet. Built in 1948, the house sits on a 0.15 acre lot. It’s currently undergoing major renovation.

According to real estate figures, Quinto’s monthly mortgage is $3939, while his annual property tax is $3,772. Mere chump change for a big screen and small screen star!

The house is certainly not worth that amount…but the block of land looks incredible. I’m guessing he has a kick ass view and by the time he’s renovated it will look amazing and be worth a lot more than that!

Good for him for not letting the fame and money go to his head. Honestly, why would a single guy need bigger than a 3bdrm house? Plus, silverlake is a chill hipster area that’s still very central in location. Chris pine is always in that area too.

One just assume he made tons of money from Heroes and Start Trek movie. Unless you compare his wages to waitresses and cashiers. By Hollywood standard he’s in poverty! He’s just glad he got a major role in Star Trek and hope that the producer would continue with him for the series. Good for him being prudent with his money. As he understand the short life span of actors in Tinsel Town. He needs to be smart with his money.

Wow! I lived there for about 4 years and rented it for $925.00 a month. It was cool house but a bit of a dump at the time. My husband and I put in wood floors and divided up one of the rooms to make a baby room for our daughter (making the house a three bedroom). Happy to hear it is getting much needed TLC.
