CNN reports that the event will be produced by Ken Ehrlich, who has previously produced the Grammy Awards. The director of MJ’s memorial will be Kenny Ortega, who was set to co-direct the singer’s O2 shows in London later this month.
Meanwhile, the Jackson family has reportedly chosen American Idol alumni Jennifer Hudson to perform at the King of Pop’s memorial service.
Many stars are rumored to be in attendance including Diana Ross, Elizabeth Taylor and Paul McCartney, who is also rumored to be performing. Rumours are buzzing that Mariah Carey will also take the stage but nothing has been confirmed.
There is no word yet on what Miss Hudson will sing. (She is uber pregnant afterall.) The pop songstress is no stranger to loss, as her mother, brother and nephew were killed in a triple homicide last October.

Yeah and Paul McCartney will sing Black or White..in honor of Michael it is bad enough that
they cancel tv afternoon for this crap.. who needs to see Michael …especially if all they
have is Jennifer Hudson and not Beyonce or Jlo
