THE NEW QUEEN OF POP?

miley-cyrus-t.jpg

Sure, the Spice Girls may be selling out venues left, right and centre, but Miley Cyrus concert tickets are so hot that she’s actually being compared with The Beatles!

One ticket for a show in Charlotte has sold for a mind-boggling $2565!!!!

It’s Hannah Montanamania!

Well it’s no secret that kids have terrible taste in entertaiment.

…and the parent would pay such an amount is STUPID!!! What is the lesson they are teaching their child? And the lesson to the eBay scalper? Ridiculous!

WHAT? That’s such a fucking scam. Ripping kids off, when she should be thanking GOD that anyone would show up to watch a little brat perform anything. I have never heard her stuff, but if it is even remotely like Britney Spears I hope she dies and we will all be better off.

Actually Joseph, I’ve seen interviews with both her and her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus denouncing the parents who obtain these tickets through pre-sales and then sale them on eBay.
    .
Really, what can she do? The tickets are actually $18 - $55 depending on the seats and the venue. The scalpers are the ones making her look bad.

The little girl I babysit sometimes asked me if she could watch Hannah Montana. Ok so it is not going to win any emmys and isn’t up for a pulitzer but it is a cute show. Yes kids do have bad taste in entertainment, but then we were all there at one time or another ourselves.

I agree with audrey. I have a 12 year old sister, so I watch Hannah Montana sometimes. It’s cute. Better than the garbage that was on when I was that age.

Her songs have really positive messages in them, so you’ll hear no complaint from me there (my 8 year old sister LOVES her). I find the show to be annoying though… along with a lot of the other Disney stuff airing today. When I was my sister’s age it was all about Pete & Pete, Salute Your Shorts, The Secret World of Alex Mack, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, and the Wonder Years… haha, actually I think those shows are better than the ADD-minded Disney shows of today (loud and fast paced).

Good for Miley. This is every disney stars dream come true and good for her. People who have the money to buy the tickets good for them and others thats a bummer. But dont hate the singer hate the song!!!

“Salute Your Shorts” was my shit. Camp Anawanna, we hold you in our hearts. Good memories. Remember that soap opera “Fifteen”? Ryan Reynolds was on it.
