Country crooner Keith Urban was on his way to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting yesterday when he crashed his motorcycle in Sydney.
According to witnesses, the husband of Nicole Kidman was shaking after the crash.
While under the hot pursuit of a photographer, Keith crashed in the midst of trying avoid a car that was making an illegal U-turn.
Keith escaped the mess uninjured.
UPDATE: An statement from Keith’s reps:
“Today’s incident was the result of one person’s desire to do his job and my desire to maintain my privacy. Some have already attempted to inflate the facts, but the reality is this; while out riding to an AA meeting, a time when my privacy is especially important to me, I felt myself being pursued. I sped up, and in an effort to elude an oncoming car, which was making an illegal U-turn, saw no choice but to drop my bike. In actual fact, my pursuer came to my assistance, without taking photos, and helped me from the road. I returned home, got my car, and continued on my way.”
All’s well that ends well…I guess….

It is good that he was ok but maybe celebs will learn someday it really doesn’t do any good to run.
Ya know I ride, been riding for years.
And them damn “cage drivers” (people in cars) DONT LOOK OUT FOR BIKERS…………Period.
Many of times, have I had to lock them up due to some moron doesnt know how to drive.
So be a little bit more WATCHFUL people. YOU could kill someone that is going to see family, church, AA meeting, or hell even you.

I would love to motorcycle some day… but it scares the hell out of me, and bikers make me nervous when I’m driving too, especially with how they weave in an out of traffic. Sigh. There goes my dreams of a bike tour of S.A….
Joseph Christ: for someone who uses a moniker as yours, I would think that you would be a nicer individual. What has this guy done to you to allude to the fact that you would have liked him to have died in that accident?? You scare me. Stay out of So Cal. The paps need to back off! How dare they chase him like that? Theyve obviously forgotten Princess Diana. There needs to be a law against persuing someone by vehicle.
