Debbie Rowe was seen continuing to go about her daily routine on her horse ranch in Palmdale, CA today (July 2), just one week after the sudden death of her ex-husband, Michael Jackson.
New reports claim that Rowe will fight for custody of the two children that were conceived, using donor sperm, while the couple was married. There is still question whether MJ ex-wife is the biological mother of the children.
Earlier today, her attorney Eric George cleared up her remarks in a conference call saying that no final decision had been made regarding the issue. “I’m representing to you now unequivocally Debbie has not reached a final decision concerning the pending custody proceedings,” he said.
Miss Rowe filed a petition in 2001 to give up her parental rights but later reversed her decision and secured visitation rights.

Arasto… you and the rest of the media need to brush up on your ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) and the state laws in CA.
1/ In ART, the woman that gives birth to the child is considered to be the biological mother. She is not a surrogate, unless contractually hired to function as such for another couple.
2/ In the state of CA, the woman that gives birth is considered the biological mother and is entitled to full parental and custodial rights.
3/ In some cases, children are conceived using donor egg. In this case, the woman giving birth from an embryo created with a donor egg is considered to be the biological mother. The egg donor is considered to be the genetic donor and will waive any parental or custodial rights in her contract. She is not, in any way ever, considered to be the mother.
So… Debbie Rowe is the biological mother. Period. It’s possible an egg donor was involved in the conception, but unless Ms. Rowe cares to share that info, we’ll never know. It’s private information and she is not required to divulge that to anyone.
The courts in CA have tended to rule very much in favor of biological mothers.
I predict she gets the two older children.
Addendum to #2 above: again, unless she has been hired as a surrogate. Ms. Rowe was married to Mr. Jackson at time of birth; she was not a surrogate. She did waive custodial rights later, but she never waived parental rights and that is what she is now pursuing.

Man I bet every guy who gave sperm the year that these kids came along is wondering if they are the dad. Wouldn’t it be weird if you recognised that one of the kids looked heaps like you or something? So is it definately confirmed that it wasn’t Michael’s sperm? I didn’t know that. I think this is a very messy case and it’s not as simple as she is the biological mother if she did waive rights to the children.

Why should she get the kids? Being a mum is more than pushing a baby from your foo foo. Just like being a dad is more that sticking your willy in. How could she envisage taking children that she doesn’t even know from the extended family they have and against the wishes of Michael? Also, splitting them from the youngest. It would be a grave injustice if she got them. I think Katherine Jackson (as long as she is away from Joe which I think she is as they are estranged) would be the best choice or Diana Ross. Ross has raised many kids out of the public eye and they appear well adjusted.

That witch should not get a damn thing about those kids, she let him have them for 8 million, plus they look like that Dr Arnold klein especially that little girl , same big ass ears and those same blue eyes, and i heasrd Debbie was not the bio mom that her egss were not used, whatever they all crazy as hell and all want money!!
If she gets them i feel sorry for them but it sould be true that the eggdonor will not be revealed , thats why i am so glad i would never do no crazy mess like that and am so glad i can have my own kids, biracial or not my baby girl is gprgeous and her dad is there all the time for her and me! But thats my business and i would never ever get involved in no vitro or egg or sperm donors especially if i was a millionaire like MJ!!
