Last summer, Jessica Simpson’s ‘Blonde Ambition’ was banished to the world of ‘Straight To DVD’ after a series of disastrous stamps of failure from film critics.
Now the movie has been deemed too bad even for a DVD release — it’s going on sale on home shopping network QVC!!
Ouch!
Nonetheless, Jessica continues to act. Her latest theatrical flop, ‘Major Movie Star’, has an early 2008 release (and bomb) date.

I just don’t understand who keeps hiring her! As fickle as Hollywood is, you’d think they’d have been fired long before now.
That’s what I don’t understand either. I am not a Jessica hater but if she constantly flops why would a person want her to star in their movie?? They might as well just take their money and flush it and save their time and energy.
This is not surprising, and extremely funny. I’m so glad the Simpson sisters are crashing and burning. They are two of the most untalented people on the planet.

maybe, jessica, if you had little bit bigger boobs and fuller lips and if you lost few pounds, maybe then you’d have a chance but only if your face would resemble more goldie hawn’s and you had a time machine to go back let’s say 20 to 30 years and you’d “take care of goldie” (if you know what i mean, jess) maybe then you could get her roles. and her movies were pretty popular at the time. you couldn’t fail.
That is really embarressing but it’s obviously not stopping her from getting more roles and more money. She is starring in a new comedy ( forgot the name) so she is probably having the last laugh. She is STILL getting paid. This had to do with the sole fact of her looks, not her skills. Young jocks and high school girls love her. That’s her target audience, sad but true.

I really HOPE that her career is coming to an end, i mean it has to be!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Her albums suck and fail, her movies suck and failed, her live performance usually ends in PR disaster. She is a EMBARRASSMENT for Hollywood, she really is.

Miss, if her movies are going straight to DVD, then is clear that SHE DOESNT HAVE AN AUDIENCE anymore, even Jessica Alba’s film get a theater release. I really think that in 3 years we will only hear about Simpson because her PR machine works very hard and she is always open to sell her personal life to get media, but in terms of carrer I think she is finished.
Her Dad, Pap Joe, is the producer. That’s the only reason anyone would hire her! I guess he wants his 10% or somethng. I remember seeing the trailer and it embarrassingly terrible. She’s such a loser.
I have said it before and I will say it again–any movie starring Jessica Simpson is a waste of celluloid.
she needs a new reality show. she only became popular because of that newly wed show. then the divorce then thats it.
sadly she needs to get naked in a movie to draw an audience. of course papa joe wants to keep that all for himself. or maybe he’d get off on seeing his daughter naked in a movie? hell he probably already has her naked on film - SICK!
