‘American Idol’ queen Kelly Clarkson heads Down Unda’ to performs on the Australian breakfast show ‘Sunrise’ on Monday morning in Sydney, Australia.
The 25-year-old rockstress performed ‘One Minute’ and ‘Walk Away’ before offering hosts Melissa Doyle and David Koch a brief interview about her third album.
Next up for Miss Clarkson? A performance tonight on ‘Australian Idol.’ On the advice of her management, Kelly refused to appear on the talent show last year during her Aussie promo tour in a bid to shake off her ‘American Idol’ tag and focus on “credibility.”
But with a couple of Grammys and international success under her overly stretched belt, Kelly is clearly comfortable with her ‘Idol’ background.

Her weight fluctuates so much it must drive her crazy. She should get with a trainer and stick with it. She doesn’t need to be stick then because she’s prettier when she’s normal but yo-yoing is just as unhealthy as being overweight.

I don’t give a shit that she’s a little overweight. I’d rather look at/listen to her than any of the no talent skinny skanks like the Pussycat Dolls, Danity Shit or Jessica Simpson.

She has a great voice, but it doesn’t shine at all in her newest album imo. It’s just a bunch of yelling, and it made me cringe just listening to it… I get headaches easily so I avoid that kind of music. Still, I have faith in her next album :o).

I agree that she doesn’t have to be a size 2 in order to matter in this world but every time I see her lately I feel bad for her. The way she looks makes ME feel uncomfortable. It just doesn’t look healthy. It can’t feel good to be large and out of shape. It just looks like it hurts.

I love Kelly because she doesn’t seem like someone who has a diva attitude and the girl can sing. I do have to say I am kind of shocked at how big she is in these pics. She seems to be getting bigger. I think it is such a shock because she is in the public eye and we are just not used to seeing chubby girls. I think she could look a lot better if someone helped her with her clothes. Maybe she just really doesn’t care.

I heard her on Australian Idol…Her voice is trashed. It sounded AWFUL! When will her fans admit that she isn’t what she used to be. I don’t understand her hype. She isn’t a very good LIVE singer. Too many flat and screeching notes.

She dresses all wrong for her figure. Like for example, she doesn’t need to have on knee high boots, her legs are much too short and thick for that. And she should also cover up her upper arms.

She has a great voice, seems to be a real girl and I don’t think her size is a problem she just has no idea how to dress herself. At least she has talent you know? I don’t even care if she looks like a white Al Sharpton I’m just desperate to see some real stars!

She looks fine, She sounds awful and doesn’t deserve the hype she gets..IMO. but when you compare her to brittany she sounds good. but I just don’t get her hype at all. she’s not that good.

i think the ‘idol tag’ gives someone MORE credibility actually. it proves that you can sing live. more so than lindsay lohan etc. their popularity is due to a whole bunch of PR, and not their singing at all
