Nicole Richie, her beau Joel Madden and her growing belly enjoyed a rare night out on the town on Wednesday (July 1).
The expectant couple were among a handful of celebrity attendees at the private screening of Playground in Los Angeles.
Executive produced by George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh, the feature length film — which was all the rave at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival — exposes the commercial sexual exploitation of children in the United States.

Nicole is set to give birth to her second child in the next two-three months. According to Joel, they do not know the sex and it will be a surprise delivery.
