According to the family of Michael Jackson, there will be no public service for the late music legend at Neverland.
“Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland,” says a rep. “Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly.”
A bummer to his endless legion of fans, needless to say.
Matt Lauer, meanwhile, is still planning to broadcast live from Neverland Ranch on the Today show tomorrow morning.

hope they can find him a resting place as soon as possible
So by public viewing they mean for the public to see his body??? I don’t see why that would be necessary and why the fans would expect that to happen. Or do they mean just to see the coffin. I would imagine that would be ok. Something like Princess Diana’s funeral where he is carried in through the public to a private ceremony. I don’t know about telvising the funeral, because while he was a public figure he still deserves a bit of privacy and respect.
