CELEBRITY QUOTE OF THE DAY

gwyneth-paltrow-spain

“It is so different from the United States. It seemed to have a history, and the buildings are years and years and years old. Here in the United States an old building is about 17 (years old), and over there it’s from 500 B.C., it’s incredible. Also, the way people live over there. They seem to enjoy life a little bit more. They aren’t running around as much as in New York. They enjoy time with the family. They don’t always have their BlackBerry on.”

– Chatting with the Associated Press, actress Gwyneth Paltrow compares life in the U.S. to life in Spain

I guess Europe is OK if you want to live in old, crappy buildings with no AC. But, yes, they do have character—LOL..

Gwinny has a misconception about Spain..
we work hard 40 hours per week,
sometimes we do not have time to see our family. we have iphones, blackberries, stress
she comes here to relax not to work..
and going to 5 star hotels with the Italian chef Batalli..jejeje she is a fuckin millionaire

I think her agent is probably frantically calling her on her blackberry to tell her to SHUT THE HELL UP! Career suicide.

Woww.. Gwyneth is REALLY dumb. Seriously I think Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton and Hugh Hefner’s whole team of girlfriends would have a higher IQ than this stupid woman. New York City is not the only place in the United States and is she forgetting about the rich history of the American Indians? And there are heaps of building over 17 years old!

Look at all the so-called patriots coming out to defend poor little America. Get over it people. All she said was she liked Spain while she was interviewed by a Spanish news outlet. Old news.

Pam, i’m spanish too, and i am feed up of saying we work hardly, we don’t live in the streets, dancing sevillanas, wearing polka dot ruffled dresses, and no, we don’t ride donkeys!
In fact, we are different to U.S. but it doesn’t mean better or worst, just different. All buildings i know have less than 100 years (habitable ones), and B.C… does Merida Roman Theatre count? or Italica? Cartagena roman ruins? Them all are like 2000-2100 years old, no one from 500 B.C. (I should ask Gwyneth to tell me where they are, really, and who live there, cause most of them are prehisto and are protected by our govern, no one can live in them, mostly cause they are ruins).
Un saludo y un placer saber que no soy la unica que sigue esta web.
