The reason he drags the kid around everywhere is because he’s trying to prove that he’s a good dad after being a complete deadbeat for John’s first year.

Bambinoitaliano, no - good parenting for celebrities would mean leaving their kids with a babysitter for the few minutes that Tom’s running errands at the Fedex store. We have seen pics of John with Tom’s babysitter bcak in Feb after the first wedding. I agree with MK - Tom and Gisele are trying to prove their good parents after having ignored JOhn totally during the first year.
