A buff looking Jude Law showed off his muscular arms in a grey vest while slurping on Starbucks Frappuccinos with his 6-year-old son Rudy Indiana Otis in London today (June 29).
The hunky actor is currently starring in the West End production of Hamlet. His much-talked about role as Shakespeare’s melancholy Dane has generated a whole lot of buzz.
Calling Jude’s Hamlet “riveting” and “thrillingly vital,” Variety writes: “The revelation of Law’s performance is the dynamic connection between mind and expressive body. A tall man, he looks surprisingly compact because he’s so physically at ease. Like a great tennis player, he can, from a position of repose, seemingly leap to anywhere, which makes him commanding and dangerous.”
The praise doesn’t end there. The London Times adds: “Jude Law’s Hamlet is not deeply lovable enough for this to be a truly moving version of the play…. This is a hard-working and successful performance, though. Law’s delivery is excellently crisp and clear, full of sibilant articulacy.”
Could all this buzz garner Jude his first ever Laurence Olivier Award (Britain’s equivalent of Broadway’s Tony Awards)? We’ll find out when nominations are read early next year.
Hamlet is at Wyndham’s Theatre through August 22.

Good looking kid, Jude has nice genes it seems!
Um. Not sure about pairing a vest with cargo shorts.
6-year-olds should not be drinking coffee, wtf.
He dresses like a mo. Seriously, how many straight men wear vests without shirts?
How many men look like him? He can wear anything he wants and he always be HOT!
That is classic Jude. Nobody else can pull off that hot/cool look. Love him!
