EMMA WATSON: “DON’T JUDGE ME!”

It was lights, camera, action for Emma Watson as she filmed scenes for the upcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows parts 1 and 2 flick in Whitehall and New Scotland Yard in London yesterday (June 28).

Joined by co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, the young starlet was all business as she did her thing in front of the camera for the seventh and final film in the popular Harry Potter films series.

Part one of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is scheduled for release on November 19, 2010. Part two is scheduled for release on July 15, 2011. Both parts were written by Steve Kloves, who wrote the first four and the sixth films, and directed by David Yates, who directed the previous two films.

Meanwhile, Emma insists she isn’t your “classic” public schoolgirl — and she hates it when people judge her.

“I’m not your classic public schoolgirl because I’ve been brought up in Watford,” she dishes to the new issue of British Elle. “And I’ve met and worked with people from a million different backgrounds. You can’t please everyone. And that’s something that I’m learning.”

She continues: “I don’t want other people to decide who I am. I want to decide that for myself. I want to avoid becoming too styled and too ‘done’ and too generic. You see people as they go through their career and they just become more and more like everyone else. They start out with something individual about them but it gets lost. Natalie Portman is an exception. I’m in awe of how she’s handled herself.”
