New mom Bridget Moynahan takes her one-month-old son John on his first outing to the Bel Air Bay Club the picturesque Santa Monica Bay on Thursday.
The 36-year-old actress enjoyed lunch with a friend while burping her new bundle of joy.
Although the baby’s name was announced as John Edward Thomas Moynahan, the initials on his burp cloth, JME have left out the initial T which was likely given in honour of his estranged father Tom Brady.
Ouch!
So much for those rumours of eased tensions between the estranged exes.
Update: Photos have been removed.

Why would she be agreeable enough to name him after Tom and then refuse to put the initial on a bib? That doesn’t make much sense to me.

She probably got the bib as a present, and most monograms with the last initial in the middle just have room for three letters. Or whoever gave it to her doesn’t like how Tom has treated Bridget…understandable. But she was gracious enough to include Tom somewhere in there, which is more than I would do!

JME? That’s not even the right order

The last name is always in the middle and the first is to the left of it and the middle is to the right of it. I think she is BITTER!! She should put her feelings aside for her son — after all he is half of Tom.

I really don’t like her, and I cannot tell you why. Maybe I am wrong, and I am not a mom by any mean, but the baby isn’t even a month old, why is he out??? I wouldn’t bring him out to public area unless I absolutely have to… Just cause all the germs and such LOL> I know I know… But I can be bias, I just don’t feel for her.

Oh, who cares?!?!??? I’ve never in my life seen a 4-letter monogram! Regardless of the “T” I think she already got her point across with the “M”. And how does any of this make her bitter? I wouldn’t give my child a man’s last name unless he was married to me, period.

Why bring him out? UMMMMM…let’s see! Why put him on the cover of OK!??? Because his Mommy is a wannabee celebrity and wants as much press for this pregnancy and birth that she can get before the story completely dies down. Seriously! She is EVIL!!!!

I do not her either. The situation is tough for all involved and is seems pretty apparent that after 3 years of baby free sex, she planned this baby to trap him into staying with her. I actually give him credit for not sticking with her. How can she be trusted and we all know that staying with a man or woman for the sake of a child does not work. Tom seems to be trying his best here, but once she did OK! she drew a classless line in the sad. I have no use for this woman. The baby is adorable and looks just like his Dad. That must eat at her. There is no resemblance to her at all. Kinda funny!

I think Bridget pulled off the perfect revenge on Tom with the way she’s handled the whole thing. She managed to give him the “cut direct” in this day and age - almost unheard of! You go, girl! (And here I’m a Michigan Football fan. Oh well.)

I am sure Bridget and Tom have their son’s best interest in mind and would not jeopordize his safety or health. Many infants that age (including my non celebrity sons) are brought outside for strolls and fresh air …..but certainly not in contact with large crowds etc. How can Bridget be called evil??? Please advise how you have come to this conclusion? If this conclusion is based on the failed relationship and timeline of pregnancy, who is anybody to judge or to make such a comment??? Why do you feel power to lash out at celebrities/sports figures because you can??? I know how I would feel if my mothering skills were criticized or if my husband’s fathering skills were attacked. Most importantly, I would be outraged that my child would see his parent (s) being portrayed as evil! Evil parents abuse and neglect their children etc!!! Not the case here!!!! Boundries are clearly needed. I would ask that folks that have children, feel free to respond about how PERFECT you were/are as first time /veteran parent….imagine being monitored, photographed and CRITICIZED on how you hold your baby (the mom and dad may have a comfort hold for their baby that soothes their infant) and what burp cloth you use, who gave it as a gift or the significance of the initials…..we’re talking about a burp cloth!!!! God Bless Bridget and Tom and your beautiful baby….don’t listen to the negatives
