Looks like young Mercy James is settling into her new life in England just fine.
Looking happy, well-adjusted and healthy, the newly-adopted 4-year-old from Malawi was seen getting a piggyback ride from her mom Madonna after attending services at the Kabbalah Centre in London today (June 26).
Meanwhile, though she has been focussing most of her time on family affairs as of late, the 50-year-old pop legend is still bringing home the bacon.
According to Forbes magazine, Madge is the world’s highest-earning musician. The Expess Yourself hitmaker racked in an estimated $110 million between June 2008 and June 2009, thanks to the success of her ‘Sticky & Sweet’ world tour.
Celine Dion came in second, earning $100 million and Beyonce, who is currently on her ‘I Am … Sasha Fierce’ tour, placed third, after earning $87 million in the same time period.
Bruce Springsteen and Kenny Chesney rounded out the top five respectively.

Adorable. So glad that little girl is going to have a family and so many opportunities in life. From the pictures, all four kids look really happy.
The kids are raised under whatever religion the parents are. So if Madonna was a Southern Baptist, or Hindu, or Buddhist, her kids would be too. The racism and bigotry here sometimes is astounding.

There are billions of people around the world who take their kids to church from day one. There is no harm in it. I bet if Madonna took her kids to church every sunday there would’t be so much fuss about it. Mercy looks happy. I remember seeing pictures of the vietamese kid (Pax?) that Angelina adopted and he looked much more scared.
