‘Hotel Chevalier’ may have been a hit with the critics but the film has received most attention for featuring Natalie Portman’s first ever fully nude scene.

The film was intended to be shown before ‘The Darjeeling Limited’ as a prequel to the movie, however it is being made available free online as part of a viral marketing campaign.
Natalie and co-star Jason Schwartzman spend a majority of Wes Anderson’s ten minute-long short getting hot ‘n’ heavy in a hotel room.

Why is it a short about them having sex in a hotel room? Wow, that never happens. We are all supposed to think it is so artistic or something? She has no body at all so it doesn’t really feel like you are really seeing anything anyways.

The whole thing about arty sex scenes pisses me off. Porn is porn and yes it can be more tastefully done but the only real difference is the fact that the girls don’t have big blonde hair, massive boobs and fake tan all over them. If actresses are up for doing a fully nude sex scene but they screw up their noses at porn then that is just very hypocritical. I don’t see anything wrong with sex scenes at all as they often make the movie and are necessary for the plot line but I think some actresses have major double standards. For instance Nicole Kidman has gone totally nude before and has been in hardcore sex scenes….how is that any different to what Jenna Jameson does for a living?

Comparing the artistic elements of film-making and cinema with the porn industry thats there to entertain people solely for sex is really quite out of sync.
