Hollywood celebrated the power of 18 last night as Declare Yourself, the national nonpartisan, nonprofit youth voter initiative aimed at encouraging America’s 18-year-olds to register and vote in the 2008 primaries and general election, presented a spectacular star-studded event.

Held at the historic Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, the unforgettable night was hosted by Declare Yourself founder Norman Lear with everyone’s favourite cheerleader Hayden Panettiere.

The party-with-a-cause drew some fine young talent including Kristin Bell, Nick Cannon, Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag, Dave Navarro, Plain White T’’s, Justin Timberlake and a newly blonde Rumer Willis.

    I don’t think I would call Dave Navarro “fine, young talent” haha.

    ….and I would add Lauren Conrad, Nick Cannon and Heidi Montag to the list of people I would not consider “fine young talent”.

    this girl’s stylist must be an old lady –her hair and style is too old for an 18 year old.

    @ Kate : I really get the feeling she’s doing that purposely to create an image of a serious actress. She doesn’t want to fall in the same category as the other young Robertson Boulevard-shopping, DUI actresses.
