Reese Witherspoon was hard at work on a yet-to-be titled James L. Brooks project in Washington, DC yesterday (June 23).

The Oscar-winning actress was a real trouper as they filmed into the early hours on Wednesday and with funny man Paul Rudd as her co-star it must make the time fly!

After a long day on the set, Reese got a special visit from boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal. Needless to say, a late night hug from her beau seemed to have made her night.

Can you blame her?
