After keeping it modest in a navy blue business suit at last night’s Clinton Global Initiative event, actress-cum-lobbyist Angelina Jolie glams it up in all white as she departs from the UN building in New York City on Thursday.
During the conference, Angie blasted the White House for its excessive military spending. And while most stars who criticize Bush get lambasted, the 32-year-old star is being honoured. Jolie has been awarded the 2008 Guinness world record for most powerful actress!
She shares the title — among other things — with fellow thespian Jennifer Aniston.

They always travel in either a private jet or a huge SUV. That is how they roll. But you and me are supposed to roll in a hybrid. Anywho…. I just saw her interview on JustJared… Gotta say, it brought tears to my eyes. Coming from a 3rd world country myself, if I didn’t know better, I would be selling tissues just like that little boy she was talking about too. All things aside, I think she’s great for what she is doing, because she is doing more than I am doing, more than most of Hollywood is doing.

She looks good. She’s got really classic style and she dresses very age approproately and doesn’t try to be somebody that she’s not. I could never imagine her walking around in little denim cutoffs and a skimpy top. Never. I think its great that she is getting involved in issues that matter to her. Go Ange!
