Jennifer Aniston showed off a variety of different faces as she filmed scenes alongside fellow A-lister Gerard Butler for their upcoming movie, Bounty Hunter, in Atlantic City, NJ today (June 23).
Despite the cheery facade, it appears that the 40-year-old actress was recently taken aback when — seemingly out of nowhere — she received a series of text messages from none other than Angelina Jolie demanding that she “back off!”
Angie reportedly sent the warnings via Brad Pitt’s cell phone — signing off as “AJ” — after he returned to New York from a trip to L.A.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if Jen was upset about it,” an insider tells Britain’s Look magazine, referring to the alleged text messages. “Getting that sort of message would be a shock. I don’t think Jen would expect to hear from Angelina at all.”
News that Angelina has been sending Jennifer warning messages makes it look like war between the two stars, the sources adds. “Angelina must be fed up with the rumors surrounding Jen and Brad and the suggestions of them getting back together. She’ll know better than anyone that Brad is a good man and although Angelina has always tried to give the impression she isn’t threatened by the stories about Jen, it must annoy her to read claims that Jen still has feelings for him. “Jen and Brad had a connection — Angelina knows this. But she has six kids with him now and I’m sure that’s something which really holds them together. They shouldn’t be arguing over his ex-wife who he divorced four years ago.”
The insider continues, “Jen can’t be blamed for thinking it’s OK to develop a friendship with Brad again. Brad has confided in her over several phone calls. She seems to be a real tower of strength for him and knows how to put a smile on his face. Plus, I think she’s really relishing the opportunity. She clearly has a soft spot for Brad and seems to happy to jump in and counsel him through this tough time. She sometimes sends little gifts to Brad’s Plan B production offices in LA if she spots something he might like. And she’ll send him daily motivators — quotes from self-help books she reads about staying positive. It must really lift his spirits. Angelina thinks these gifts are a little too personal, and has told Brad not to encourage Jen’s behaviour.”

I don’t think Jen is still pining for Brad nor wants him back. I think she is just playing with Ang, giving Ang a taste of she did to Jen…being a bit of a threat….Jen would be so stupid to want a cheater back. I say let Jen have fun screwing with Ang’s head…ha ha too funny…

Funny how Angie is singing a different tune now that she’s feeling threatened by Brad leaving her. She sure didn’t think that when she was shacking up with him while he was still married to Jennifer.

ZZZZ More tabloid lies. Jen’s publicist has denied over and over that Jen and Brad have communicated in any way what so ever except in certain lying tabloids. No way is Angelina giving any thought to Jen much less texting her. Ditto for Brad who didn’t even bother to acknowledge Jen at the Oscars, he totally ignored her. 5 years people 5 years and 6 kids later, these 3 people have definitely moved on with their lives. Too bad some here obviously have not.

I think this sounds like a bunch of crap. I don’t even think Brad and Jen have really seen each other since they split. I don’t think they hate each other or anything, I think they’ve just moved on with their lives. If there are seeing each other I’m sure it’s just as friends and I can understand why Ange would feel threatened by that. Nobody want their husband/boyfriend hanging out with their ex.

What a load of old rubbish. What you have to realise is that reading the British media and magazines is like reading fairy stories. They lie, and lie and then lie again. If you have more than one brain cell, you don’t believe a word you read or see on TV unless you see the actual action yourself or hear the words spoken by the people in question. I don’t understand why the media are taking such trouble to make up these stories. Why would Brad take back that dried up old stick Aniston anyway, when he has such a beautiful family with Angelina? He seems like a decent person and would never do that.
