Spending an afternoon under the sun, David Duchovny, Tea Leoni and their 10-year-old daughter Madelaine splashed around the waves in Malibu yesterday (June 21).

Looking like a perfect little family, it’s clear that the longtime married couple are working hard on their relationship.

You’d never think that it was only 8 months ago that David and Tea announced their separation after Duchovny voluntarily entered rehab for sex addiction.

Says a source: “Their relationship has really improved. They’re still in love. They very much care for each other and whatever happens they are working it out for the kids. Their first priority through everything was staying close for their kids and making life as great as it can be for them. They’ll always be a family.”
