Check out some just-released images of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. The colourful cast of characters can be seen in theaters this week to promote the March 5, 2010 release date.
Johnny Depp looks trippy as the Mad Hatter. In addition to his whacky orange hair and oversized yellow pupils, the actor offers up an undetectable accent.
Helena Bonham Carter’s Red Queen undergoes some dysmorphia courtesy of the latest cutting edge CGI. The actress’ head is digitally enlarged as she famously orders: “Off with their heads!”
The White Queen is played by none other than Anne Hathaway. She’s described as gorgeous but eccentric. Or typically over-the-top by Tim Burton’s standards.

I like them all except the mad hatter’s skin. I think it should look more dirty than crisp white. The other two characters have the really white white, so it might be to tie them all together. But I always think of the Mad Hatter as an escaped mental patient so I think he should look like he is just dirty and doesnt care.
I’m so over Tim putting his women in his films. Effing lame. I also can’t stand Helena’s newfound predilection for gothy and bizarre roles. I prefer her in period pieces not something stupid like what she did in Harry Potter.
Tim Burton, enough! Enough! Enough! I get it, you’re madly in love with Johnny Depp and HBC. For Christ’ sake, quit being so damn predictable. All you do is repackage the same gothic-laden tripe every single movie. How is that creative?
i’m pretty sure danny elfman will be doing the music. hahaha you just know there’s a handful of people tim burton always uses… but i love most his films anyway.
I agree See You Next Tuesday! I’m getting a bit over it. Every one of his movies is always Johnny Depp and Helena. I’m actually wondering if he is capable of working with other people. At first his films were edgy and different but he’s just playing it safe now and is just too predictable. I’m really looking foward to seeing the movie because I love Alice, but I have a feeling I’m going to be disappointed. Even though Wonderland is a bit topsy turvy it’s still beautiful, and I think he may have fucked it up a little too much. Anne Hathaway looks great, but the other two put me off.

First a question: Johnny Depp has green eyes? And next remark: the makeup reminds me of Stephen King’s “It” and is a more than a bit creepy. Legions of peeps afraid of clowns will stay away from this one. And I agree that Burton and Depp is getting too predictable.

I think Johnny Depp looks fantastic! He is so creepy and I love creepy! Not a big fan of Anne Hathaway though! I do love Tim Burton though! So excited for this movie though, and the cat looks so awesome!
