R&B soulstress Alicia Keys shares a few private words with Recording Academy President Neil Portnow as she arrives to a be honoured during a benefit gala for The Recording Academy’s New York Chapter on Wednesday.
We’re loving A.Keys and her hot new single but those black-and-white oven mitts have got to go!

She has talent so I am not gonna pick on her but I don’t like the gloves either. A little too much Michael Jackson for me.

She does wear way too much make-up and unless you’re a stick, those kinds of pants are not the most flattering.

I love her! She’s smart and talented. I don’t like the gloves though. @ normal: She’s wearing so much make up because she has a really bad skin.

I was going to say the same thing GW. She does have bad skin, but sometimes you can’t have everything in life. She already has the talented, beautiful, intelligent, positive role model thing going for her. I’m excited for her new cd.

She wears SO much makeup it’s ridiculous. And she needs a stylist to tell her to lose the gloves. She’s always wearing them and she looks so dumb. I love Alicia but she never gets it completely right.
