Protected by an army of bodyguards, Robert Pattinson seemed to be in a sombre mood as he left the set of Remember Me in New York City today (June 19).
The hunky British actor has been spotted shooting a series of scenes involving steamy kisses with his co-star Emilie de Ravin. The pair were captured filming scenes for the film just hours after Rob was hit by a taxi. The Twilight star looked relaxed and showed no signs of injury following the accident in which he tried to escape a swarm of female fans, only to get hit by a passing cab.
Rob has reportedly stepped up his personal security since filming began on Remember Me. The 23-year-old has personally hired his own bodyguards, and Twilight production company Summit Entertainment has also provided him with security.
Remember Me is due for release in February 2010.

Woah those tween fans are crazy! I don’t know how so many parents of 13 year old girls just let their daughters run around after this guy? It’s a bit unhealthy right? Take them to the movies and stuff but following him in film sets is kind of promoting stalking. I feel sorry for the guy, he seems to be embarassed by it all. I’m looking foward to seeing him in something else other than Twilight.
