HUMANITARIANISM AT THE SHOE STORE

Above all, Renee Zellweger understands that every woman deserves a pair of really fierce shoes.
The A-list actress recently treated a woman she met in the Saks shoe department with a pair of Manolo Blahniks the woman had been admiring earlier.
Barely 15 minutes after she went back to work, Faracino was approached by the shoe department’s manager with a gift-wrapped box. “These are compliments of Renee Zellweger. She wanted you to have them,” he said. Inside were the Manolos she’d been admiring.
Meanwhile, the starving remain hungry.

I’m going to start going into rich people stores and loudly proclaiming I want certain stuff and how it’s a shame I can’t afford it. It’s my new hobby.

I think that’s really cool of her - the “starving go hungry” comment isn’t justified. One silly little shoe-related good deed doesn’t mean she’s not doing other things for other people! It’s nice to do something small and unnecessary for one individual once in a while.

please stop using the word ‘fierce’….

man, at least she did something nice. if we’re going to judge every good thing she does then dont act surprised if she stops. dont question or devalue her kindness, praise it.

LOL @ yeahso?
Does anyone know of the top of their head….if Renee has any movies coming out? I kinda like her stuff.

That is what would be fun about having a ton of $$. You could just do random things everyday that would make other people so happy. I think it is sweet of her.

I think it’s really nice of her and don’t think her generosity should be chided. Those of you who are doing so are just pissed that you didn’t get a free pair of Manolos. Leave the humanitarian issues to Brangelina.

I think that the comment “meanwhile, the starving remain hungry,” should be removed from this blog. It’s just rude and unwarranted. There are plenty of other people worthy of being picked on.

Damn! That actually works? I’m going to start hanging around Vivienne Westwood looking sad. However the bottom comment by Arasto is kind of dumb and is just another in a long line of weirdly offensive comments. Have you been replaced by a bitchier less witty version?!

BTW, my first comment was directed at Faded Youth not at anyone else who’s made a comment thus far.

I just know we’d be best friends Renee, call me!

Wow that’s awesome! What a nice thing for her to do! I don’t think you can really say a bad word about her doing that though, I doubt she would ever compare giving someone a pair of shoes to feeding starving children. I hate it when people do that. A good deed is a good deed no matter how big or small.

thats really nice of her. that girl will be a lifetime marketing collateral of renee.
