Paris Hilton was cutesy smiles as she waited to clear immigration as she arrived in the VIP area of Dubai International Airport yesterday (June 16) to film her new reality show Paris Hilton’s Dubai BFF.

The hotel heiress was treated like royalty when she landed in the Middle Eastern city as she was greeted at the airport by the country’s senior officials.

And Miss Hilton was shocked to discover her arrival was such big news.

She writes on her blog, “Dubai is amazing!!! Everyone is so warm and welcoming! They had all the officials greet and meet me at the airport when I landed and everyone was so respectful and nice. I think Dubai is an incredible and magical place with such great vibes. I love their culture and am so excited for this incredible journey I’m going to be on. Today, I am meeting my potential BFF’s, I’m so excited!!!”
