After recently filing for divorce against his wife Tameka Foster, Usher was spotted arriving at Los Angeles International Airport last night (June 15) preparing for his departing flight.
The paparazzi tried their best to find out more about the divorce but the newly single R&B crooner remained mostly tight-lipped — though he generously exchanged hellos and goodbyes.
Meanwhile, it appears that all those early rumblings of trouble in their marriage were not entirely baseless.
According to the divorce petition, court records show that the two were separated for nearly a year before Usher filed for divorce Friday, calling the marriage “irretrievably broken.”
The Raymonds have two young sons: 1 1/2-year-old Usher Raymond V and 6-month-old Naviyd Ely Raymond.
The petition says there is “no reasonable hope of reconciliation” between Usher and 38-year-old Tameka. A status conference is set for July 15.
