The David Letterman/Sarah Palin battle jus won’t go away. Now comes news that Palin fans have organized a Fire David Letterman rally.
It’ll be held tomorrow outside the Ed Sullivan Theater, where Dave films in New York, and is part of a larger campaign urging viewers to lobby CBS and to boycott Late Show advertisers.
Contacts for the site/rally include New York State Assemblyman Brian Kolb, lawyer Gwendolyn Lindsay-Jackson and John Ziegler, radio talk show host and producer of the documentary Media Malpractice.

I used to like Letterman a lot, all the way back to the 1980’s but over the past few years he’s gotten less funny and more obnoxious, mean spirited and crude.
Had he said something like this about the Obama’s kids and refused to apologize sincerely he would have been fired.
