Despite his on-going history of pumping out one box office flop after another, studio execs continue to offer mediocre stand up comedian Dane Cook big budget motion pictures.
Following the universally panned disaster that was ‘Good Luck Chuck’, the spastic funnyman is back on location in Boston today filming scenes alongside costar Kate Hudson in what is surely to be his latest big screen disaster.
In ‘Bachelor No. 2′, Dane’s character faces the ultimate test of friendship when his best friend hires him to take his ex-girlfriend (Hudson) out on a lousy date in order to make her realize how great her former boyfriend is.
Uhh…yeah. Perhaps Dane should just stick to what he’s good at — racking up billions of “friends” on his MySpace.

Good Luck Chuck did look pretty bad. I am just trying to figure out who thinks that Jessica Alba or Dane Cook can act? Why would they take two suck ass people and have them be costars?
lol@ my2cents! I think it’s safe to say that neither one of them will ever win an oscar! oh, and the reason they can headline a movie is because they are somewhat good looking. It’s Hollywood! All that said, I didn’t see the movie of course, but it did come in #2 at the box office, which is pretty respectable for a romantic comedy. Especially one starring non-actors.

Just because its #2 doesn’t mean its good. There is no competition and there are some people who’ll go see anything. Week 2 is where you see if it has staying power.

WTF happened with Kate Hudson career? she is a Oscar nominee, she was supposed to work in good films, thats she have to do only romcom comedy? i dont even think she is offered good parts anymore. Listen kids, this is what happens when you make bad carrer choices. you end up working with DANE COOK
she didn’t deserve her Oscar Nom, IMO…….anyone could have played Penny Lane……….wasn’t that great a part! Though I LOVED “Almost Famous”.
I love Almost Famous too!! Great movie! She looks so young in it when I watch it now.
neither of them was very good in the movie except for a 15 minute span in which Cook maintained a manic frenzy while portraying a crazed and paranoia-struck boyfriend… and the movie is decent overall because of the fact that it shows that communication breakdown and lack of faith can often undermine otherwise great relationships. it was too raunchy and lacked soul, though… i think cook’s got a career and obviously alba is the hottest woman alive.
