Taking a break from sneaking around town with Alex Rodriguez, Kate Hudson enjoyed a girls night out with Fergie in New York City last night (June 8).

The two unlikely pals have long been enjoying a series of late night discussions about weddings.

Fergie, who stars with Kate in musical movie Nine, tells USA Today: “I would be going over sketches of wedding dresses with Kate Hudson at one in the morning.”

    I love Fergie!! I think she’d be an awesome person to hang around with. I’m pretty sure she’s talking about her own wedding dress here though and not one for Kate.
