The all-star cast of ‘Saturday Night Live’ has dwindled over the years, but there is still one reason to watch if you’re home on a given weekend.
Maya Rudolph has signed to return to the hit late night comedy sketch show. She has been in negotiations for a raise for awhile, but according to TV Guide the deal has been sealed.

She is hilarious and plays Donatella Versace brilliantly.

Mad TV — WAS — better then they “jumped the shark also” just like SNL.
Chevy, Jim, and the REGULAR cast back when it started, that is when it was good.
Everything “jumps sharks” eventually (sp). Even Fonzy did it. (roflol)

I haven’t watched SNL in years, but I remember Maya is one of the best things about SNL in a long time.
I haven’t watched MadTV in a few years, but they were the best for many years. But they lost the great cast and never recovered. I’m suprised they are still on tv. Same goes for SNL.

Donatella is one of my fave SNL characters! Maya just plays her so so well. It’s hilarious. I agree that SNL really needs to be revived somehow, I lost interest a year or so ago and hardly ever watch it anymore.

she is a very talented lady- she pulls off a variety of characters very well. They were smart to give her a raise. Kristin Wiig is fucking hilarious too.
The women are the best part of SNL, by far!

On another note, one of the best hosts/skits in recent memory was Christina Aguilera doing Samantha in a Sex in the City.
