Asshole, the film was still a flop. You need to look into what the film cost to be made, the cost of promotion and distribution. When you tally those variables you will understand the meaning of the term flop. I agree with poster 1, she must have one hell of an agent or her career proves that Hollywood is out of touch with the movie going public,

Just about everything coming out of Hollywood is a flop now days….except for the stupid comedies and animation films. Can’t blame that on Nicole. What has Brad Pitt and Angelina done that was so great???? NOTHING! Most of their movies are flops too! I personally thought Australia was a good movie! It made a lot of money internationally too. Some of you posters sound very immature and nasty! Nicole looks lovely in these photos! Also, I heard her husband on a radio interview the other day, and he says they are definitely not pregnant!

I actually love her film choices. Partly because they don’t tend to mainstream. They are story-driven, thinking films, which are the films that interest me. I loved her in Birth, Fur, Margot at the Wedding, The Human Stain, Dogville and The Hours. I’ve also enjoyed her more mainstream action films such as The Interpreter and The Invasion. With regard to Australia, I think it was labeled a flop because the studio had much higher expectations for it. But the film actually made a significant amount of money worldwide. While it received mixed reviews, it did pretty well financially. I saw the film that thought it was amazing.

Nicole is a bad actress with limited range. The onlder she get and as her looks fade it becomes more apparent that she is really a bad actress. Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, and Holie are in the same boat as Nicole overrated faces and personalities without any real talent. Nicole is an ugly botoxed betty.

Nicole is a very accomplished actress with incredible range. The fact that she’s portrayed a wide variety of roles in many different film genres only proves this. Not every actress can go from a horror film (The Others) to a musical (Moulin Rouge)in the same year. And both films were critical as well as commercial successes. And more to the point, she’s won the coveted Oscar (for her fierce performance in The Hours) and Golden Globe (for her dazzling performance in Moulin Rouge), so she has nothing to prove to anyone.

You said it. She wouldn’t be anywhere without Tom Cruise. She can’t act her way out of a wet paper bag. And that horrible fake whispery voice she uses drives me nuts. She is an old ugly talentless botoxed cretin. She should crawl into a Rabbit Hole and stay there.

She may be overrated and a bad actress but she is sitting on over $200m of personal wealth, that is enough money for her family never to go hungry. And unlike you who apparently can’t stand her, she will be remembered after you are all long gone. And as for having a career because of Tom Cruise even Tom Cruise won’t claim that honour, you think the likes of Lars Von Trier, Gus Van Sant, Jonathan Glazer, Robert Benton, George Miller (her mentor), Christopher Nolan, etc. cast her in their projects because of Tom Cruise? They won’t even cast Tom in their projects. I mean, Tom Cruise is having such a great life and career isn’t he? what with being the biggest laughingstock in the world despite his best efforts, ya know. I mean, he has an Oscar on his desk doesn’t he? apparently, not.

Most of the directors you mentioned they basically suck. As for this no talent hag having over $200 million it proves that marketing and name association is more important than actual talent. Australia would have been amazing if anyone else but Kidman would have done it. A plank of wood could have given the exact same preformance she did.
