Burlesque queen Dita Von Teese stands at a classroom blackboard wearing her signature corset, in a captivating new ad for PETA.
Fresh off a campaign that made the media sit up last week and take notice when it unveiled a new public service announcement featuring a nude Alicia Silverstone, the animal-rights group held a noon press conference today at PETA’s Los Angeles office to pull back the curtain on the new ad.
The animal welfare group is urging people to brush up on their “ABCs” (short for Animal Birth Control) by having their cats and dogs spayed or neutered.

She’s hot!
I’m SO sick of her.
That’s a cute ad.
But I bet she has a closet full of expensive furs and creepy vintage taxidermy.
I think she is pretty but this pictures she looks almost too perfect. And I’m glad to know they were talking about spay/neuter, when I just read the ad I thought it was actual birth control for dogs and I couldn’t wrap my mind around that.
Wait a minute!!! She’s posing for PETA?!?!?! Dita wears furs!!! She has a collection of furs! What a fricken’ hypocrite!!
It’s great that celebrities like Alicia Silverstone and ‘Personalities’ like Dita are involved in this ad campaign…but wouldn’t it be more help for them to give some of their freaking MONEY?!?!
Make it rain on them hoes, Dita. She’s bad as hell! =)
I can’t imagine sleeping next to Marilyn Manson……..GROSS!I love her though!
I live near Huntington Beach, CA. It is the first city in the USA that is legally mandating that dog owners spay/neuter their dog. Only two exceptions will be allowed: 1) if it is a show dog involved in competitions, or, 2) the owner can prove that this procedure would make the animal sick or die as a result. For one year there will be a moratorium on fines, after that, I think the fines begin at $100, 2nd fine $300, third fine $500.
Despite my last comment, I L-O-V-E her gams.
Somebody needs to pick up the slack now that Bob Barker isn’t reminding us every day to spay or neuter our animals, I guess.
For once PETA is actually saying something that makes sense. I usually just think of them as crazed whackos!
I love this ad! She looks fantastic! And its not just about giving money…its about raising awareness. That is the same for all charities. Somebody can give a million dollars and it will do its part in helping out that’s for sure, but without raising community awareness on the issue no big changes will ever happen and the mindsets of the community as a whole will still remain the same. Money can be exchanged and we never hear about it, by doing high profile campaigns like this that get media coverage PETA is gaining awareness, whether that is positive or negative. I think its awful if Dita has got a collection of furs but as least PETA can use her for their own benefit and its never too late for her to sell those furs and change her opinions.
