TRAVESTY OF JUSTICE IN NORTH KOREA

12-years-reform-camp

Sad news to report.

North Korea Central Court has convicted American journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee to 12 years in labour prison.

The tragic news comes following a closed-door four-day trial.

The trial confirmed an unspecified “grave crime” against the nation, and of illegally crossing into North Korea.

According to the Korean Central News Agency, the court “sentenced each of them to 12 years of reform through labour.”

Laura is the sister of Lisa Ling, former co-host of The View.

A other part of this story that is really not told is that that had a guide that told them without him they wouldn’t be sure where they were, but no…they told him to take a hike and get lost. So,they travel without him.

First off, why the fuck can’t i turn off that annoying nurse jackie or whatever it’s called promo? It’s really a pain in the ass. Back on topic, I wonder if these two women were blonde haired white women if it would get a lot more coverage. As it is now it is only getting the minimal coverage it is because one of them has a semi famous sibling.

That’s because white women like to spread them open too easily. Plus they look 10 years older than they really are, bitch. (Paris Hilton, Brooke Hogan… you get my point.)

Actually Luella I heard that the family wanted less media coverage because they didn’t want to set off the North Korean government. They thought that if they didn’t cause too much of an uproar that the N. Korean government would let them go while still saving face… unfortunately that was not the case. Hopefully either China or Sweden (who still has diplomatic ties) can intervene. Unfortunately N. Korea is such an isolated country that they really have nothing to loose and do whatever they want.

North Korea scares the fucking shit out of me! Freedom of the press is also something I find really scary, and it amazes me that it’s allowed to happen. I don’t know the full story here, but for these two intelligent women to be jailed liked this is terrible. The ‘crime’ against the nation was proabably speaking out about something the Government didn’t want them to talk about.

…..this is tragic, but nothing comes as a surprise when it comes to that monster, Kim Jong-il. That regime that holds the people of North Korea in a vice of poverty and tyranny.

…..My prayers to Laura Ling and to all held captive by this satanic hegemony. I pray for your safe release.

What is wrong with you idiots??? Some of you are acting like it was their fault! And what’s with the racism?!!?!? Fucking losers. And ‘SoCalGuy’ they DID have a guide with them; he and the cameraman evaded capture. I feel so badly for them. There are no appeals in N. Korea so their sentence is final. I really hope our gov’t can do something to get them released.

Actually, anon, I prefer c*nt, and yes they can get leathery. (First rule of the internet is not to feed the trolls, c’mon!)

On a serious note, I truly hope our government is working on something to get these women out of there. North Korea has, for all intents and purposes, turned into the fat kid on the play ground; that country has sat there there, wounded and hungry, just waiting to push someone over and rifle through their lunch-box. The world has mess on their hands. Good luck to everyone.
