Decked out in their finest, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were among a handful of celeb attendees at the 2009 Fresh Air Fund Salute To American Heroes at Tavern On The Green in New York City on Thursday afternoon (June 4).
The Fresh Air Fund, an independent, not-for-profit agency has provided free summer vacations to more than 1.7 million inner-city children since 1877. Over 10 000 young New Yorkers enjoy free Fresh Air Fund programs annually.
The event raised $1.5 million for The Fresh Air Fund’s programs.
Meanwhile, Mimi, who turned 40 in March, wants to remain in her 30s for the rest of her life.
Claiming she’ll never admit her real age, the Touch My Body singer says: “Read my bio again. We can’t allow these lies to spread! Don’t say the F word around me. It’s just a number but I don’t see why women should have to conform to what is expected of a 40-year-old — whatever that is.”

she was born in 1970. That would make her 39. Why are people saying she is 40? Everything I have ever read on her since her debut has said March 27, 1970.
Her boobs really do look fake here. Although mine can look like that sometimes in certain dresses. I think Mariah has a bit of Peter Pan syndrome like Michael Jackson. She always just acts like a little girl with her Hello Kitty and butterflies and stuff and I imagine she is actually having trouble with getting older. Maybe it’s something to do with the business robbing you from your youth or something.

We’ll probably never know what went on during her marriage to Tommy Motola, but she came out of it permanently damaged. Girlfriend has issues, her exhibitionism and her unability to see herself as part of reality are probably just the tip of the iceberg.

For some reason, I kind of like this couple. He’s a cutie and she does ooze sex appeal (admittedly - with a dose of crazy). I think her hair looks prettier with a wave to it and she is bordering on the edge of curvy but she’s never been a skinny girl nor should she be.
