Cutting a fashionable figure, Marion Cotillard spent the afternoon shopping and strolling through the Soho district of New York City today (June 4). Joined by a male friend, the Oscar-winning French actress didn’t seem to be too enthused by the sights and sounds around her.

Marion is in the Big Apple after recently announcing the winners of the Bike in Style challenge along with Donna Karan and Hilary Duff at the LVMH Magic Tower Room.

The Challenge asked student designers from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) to create stylish, practical and affordable bike clothing and gear in support of Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s bicycling promotion initiatives.

Mme Cotillard will soon begin promoting Nine, her upcoming emsemble cast musical directed by Rob Marshall. The flick — which chronicles the life of famous film director Guido Contini and his struggles to find harmony in his professional and personal lives — co-stars Daniel Day-Lewis, Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, Nicole Kidman and Fergie.
