This in from Sony Music: Whitney Houston’s long-awaited new album — her 7th studio album — will be out September 1.
There is no mention of a title, but a clock is counting down at whitneyhouston.com.
Sadly, it appears the record company doesn’t have very high hopes for Whit’s album as the Grammy deadline is August 31.

Would be nice if she would put down the crack pipe and straighten out her wig, so that she at least leaves this world with some dignity in the end.
sadly, i don’t think whitney can sing like she used to. her voice was magnificent.
No her voice isn’t the same but I’m still excited. I love Whitney and am really glad she pulled through.
Even if her voice isn’t the same, she could still out-sing half of these pop harlots today.
