Remember all those stories about Britney Spears feeding her kids colas and sugary drinks instead wholesome things like milk and formula? Well, it appears the embattled mother’s mistakes are now all too obvious.
During a shopping spree in Beverly Hills yesterday, 2-year-old son Sean Preston’s teeth were looking highly discoloured.
One possible reason? “He’s having dental problems because Britney just shoves a bottle of juice in his mouth all the time to stop him from crying,” a family insider told Us Weekly last month. Another source said that, in April, Spears, 25, “asked an L.A. dentist if he would whiten her kid’s teeth!” The dentist refused.A Spears pal also told Us that the star feeds her children “total crap like Doritos and soda,” and a source who has spent a great deal of time with Spears around the children said Sean’s mom has given him chewing gum, a known choking hazard for toddlers.
In Britney’s defense, I too was raised on Doritos, pop and gum and both my teeth have never looked better.

Why are just his two front teeth dirty? The rest of her teeth are fine. It looks like he could have been eating something like chocolate before they left the house, chill out.

This is fucking ridiculous. I KNOW she is not dumb enough just to shove food and drinks in her childrens,’s mouths that are bad for them. She may not love herself these days, but she certainly loves her kids, regardless of all the stories we are told on a daily basis. I am sick of this vandetta against her. She obviously doesn’t give a fuck about herself and acts like a lunatic when it comes to her professional career, but no way in hell could she jepardize her children’s health. I refuse to believe it.

Oh. . and LikeItMatters. . while I think she gets ridiculously nitpicked by self-righteous types, I don’t think Photoshop is required to make her look like a bad mother. The judge’s orders were a pretty big clue that her parenting skills are deficient.

she probably puts the babies down for naps with milk or juice. Unfortunately, a lot of people do this, and it ROTS the front teeth. I’ve seen it with a Mom I used to work for.

It is strange how only the top are yellow but I have seen photos like this is the Wic office because I used to work there. When babies are on their back sleeping and they have milk or juice it pools in the top of their mouth. That is why you are not supposed to put a child to bed with a bottle propped up. It can rot the top teeth and not the bottom depending on how the child’s body is positioned at night.

it is strange how it’s just the top front teeth, and all the others look perfectly healthy. My kids never had sippy cups/bottles in bed with them, I just gave them drinks before bed, and they never had any problems like this. But I know A LOT of parents who do send their kids to bed with bottles/cups. But again, it’s weird that its just those few teeth. And I think it’s really sad that this is even a topic of discussion on here.

Amen BV ^ ^ I’ve read the use of antibiotics on young children can cause teeth discoloration. After hearing the Nanny’s though I doubt thats the case here.

why do you people just believe everything you read???! why??? and I agree with shannah 100%, this is probably the lowest Arasto has gone…the kid is a toddler, they have teeth issues sometimes. I’m really baffled right now at how feeble minded some of you people are. I don’t think people should comment if they don’t know–and in this case, unless you’re a parent who’s gone through this and knows that bottles/sippy cups sometimes causes teeth discoloration in children need to shut the fuck up.

maggi: I HOPE you weren’t referring to MY comments, because I DO know this from experience. I would always put the kid to bed with water, but MOM used soy milk- which rotted his front teeth.
I don’t think it’s “low” to comment on toddler’s teeth.. …..if they are being properly cared for, this shit DOESN’T happen.

It’s all good. I don’t know, I guess I’m just trying to understand the hatred towards this girl…it seems like the majority of folks here are against her for basically having personal issues that happen to be made public because she’s in the public eye. Not defending her per se because I DON’T KNOW that she’s a bad mother or any of the other crap that’s said about her. I guess I’m in the minority of folks that just come in here to see what’s going on with celebrities but not to judge…

Not a Britney fan, however, this is really, really, really (!) stupid. My kids get no juice or soft drinks and get regular dental cleanings, and their bottom teeth don’t look as white as his bottom teeth. As for the tops, he very well might have just eaten something. Or maybe someone photoshopped them (I mean, the bottom teeth are so clear and crisp in the photo and the top teeth look blurry.) This is ridiculous. Find something better to spend your time on.

maggi: If I see a regular person doing something stupid/dangerous with their child, I say something.
example: saw a woman years ago walking with her toddler, who had a latex balloon at his mouth. I explained to her if that balloon popped, it was going straight down is throat and he would DIE. She looked shocked, but I scared some fucking sense into her!
I also say shit (nicely) to people who have little kids in the front seat of the car- SOMEONE has to look out for kids when they have idiots for parents!

I really hope that is just a mark on his teeth left over from lunch or something!! That would be awful if his teeth were discolored at such a young age. I agree with you BJB. There is definately a vendetta against Britney and it seems like everyone is just desperate for something else to accuse her of all the time. I know that she doesn’t do much to help the situation and a lot of the time she is asking for it but I really think accusing her of bad parenting all the time is just below the belt. Nobody really knows what she is like behind closed doors. I think people should leave some of their judgements to themselves.

Beejeebus are you seriously trying to defend the mothering skills of a woman who drove with her baby in HER FUCKING LAP AT THE STEERING WHEEL? What part of her fucking stupidity as a mother don’t you get? There are plenty of young mothers who pacify their kids with candy and junk food because of their own laziness and poor parenting skills. Gee, I guess that’s why the court ORDERED her to take parenting classes. Duh!!
