FYB EXCLUSIVE: AIKEN’S OWN CHARITY KICKS HIM TO THE CURB

clay-aiken

After being dropped by his record label, and picking a very public catfight with American Idol and Adam Lambert, Clay Aiken’s own charity, The Bubel/Aiken Foundation, has dropped him as well!

Following a downturn in contributions, the Raleigh, NC based charity made the decision to distance themselves from being so closely associated with the tarnished Idol by changing their name the National Inclusion Project, Inc.

The charity’s new name was registered with the NC Secretary Of State’s office on May 18, 2009.

Ah……..I see you got your “news” from Clay’s stalker again. You love the headlines but not the facts.

Clay has been talking about the name change and even asked his fans to give suggestions.

I know you don’t like Clay, but..geeesh, it would be nice if what you write was even close to true.

The name change has been in the works for over a year. The purpose was to better identify the mission of the foundation. Your story is pure fabrication.

The name change has been in the works for quite a while. You should check your facts.

Why are you lying? Clay and the board of the Bubel Aiken Foundations have been talking about a name change for over a year.

Clay’s stalker is responsible for more of this bullshit.

Go read Clay’s official board where he answered the question about the name change that he and the Board of Directors decided on.

Get your facts straight. This is all total BULLSHIT!

    June-3-2009 @ 10:19 pm

It’s always amazing to me that the media overlooks the fact that Clay has had a stalker for 3 1/2 years. If it was any other celebrity the stalker would be identified as a STALKER, not having his twisted stories put out as news. What’s wrong with people today? Did he also send the twisted story? Clay is on the board of Directors, there is no way they wanted him off the name. What others have said is true, Clay and the organization has been talking about the name change for some time. The former name does not reflect the goals of the foundation, but the new name does.

    June-3-2009 @ 10:20 pm

This name change has been in the works for over a year.

Why on earth do you people believe ANYTHING Clay’s nutso stalker has to say? He’s been lying through his teeth for over 3 years and it’s ‘media’ like you who give him the attention.

You should be ashamed of yourselves -put your money where your mouth is, and do some good in the world.

Sounds like the claymates are up in arms again. What else is new?

Only one question needs to be asked: Did his own charity completely drop any mention of him from their name?

  11. reggie
    June-3-2009 @ 10:24 pm

    LOL the claymates are pissed!

  12. Pat
    June-3-2009 @ 10:25 pm

Greta - if stalker boy were stalking anyone but Clay Aiken you’d be up in arms, too.

Clay himself said over a year ago that they wanted to change the name and exclude his name from it purposely.

It’s not about him as an entertainer - it’s about helping children with special needs.

And, yes, Clay fans may well be up in arms. This idiot stalker that Clay has to endure has been stalking him and lying about him for years.

  13. Stephi
    June-3-2009 @ 10:30 pm

He’s an arrogant, rude little man who needs to stop bashing other people to make himself feel better. Who cares about him really? He’s blown his career due to his rudeness and unprofessionalism in my opinion.

  14. Greta
    June-3-2009 @ 10:33 pm

I guess I don’t get it. What’s the lie? The charity completely dropped any mention of him from the name, correct?

Sounds like a good move to me if it gets them more money.

  15. Jon
    June-3-2009 @ 10:34 pm

Yea…….they are pissed and they have every right to be.

Whether you like Clay or not, no one should have their stalker as the source of news.

Greta…..your question is not important. If you knew what was going on, you wouldn’t care. How would you feel if untrue stories were put on the internet about you all the time??

Congrats to Clay for having a successful foundation which is making a difference for all children.

  16. Jon
    June-3-2009 @ 10:35 pm

Greta…..did you read the headline??? That is a HUGE lie.

  17. Jean Laviolette/Claytango
    June-3-2009 @ 10:35 pm

My friend Chexxxy told me that this is true! First Clay’s record label kicks him to the curb, and then his own charity! What’s next? Will Clay’s baby tell him that he wants a new daddy?

Poor Clay. Just because he lied to everyone about being gay so he could make a lot of money doesn’t mean that he’s a bad person!

  18. Pat
    June-3-2009 @ 10:38 pm

Well, Stephi, the man was asked a question about Adam Lamber and about AI on his PRIVATE fan site and he answered it.

True to form his STALKER took it, totally out of context, and gave it to Gawker.

People really need to get their facts straight before they go into attack mode.

Not everything you read on the internet is true.

You can make a donation to Clay’s foundation by going to bubelaiken.org if you’d like to help include special needs kids into mainstream programs.

Clay’s foundation is in big trouble for misusing federal grants it was given. It is being investigated for refusing to be transparent about its finances.

Don’t give any money to this “charity.”

Claytango………..I knew you wouldn’t be able to stay away. NOBODY CARES about your silly posts. Be sure and say Hi to the stalker for us. I am sure he sent you over here.

  23. Greta
    June-3-2009 @ 10:47 pm

what is untrue? According to the claymates here, his own charity is changing the name to remove references to him (something that has been apparently been discussed for some time) and moving in a different direction.

I’d say good for them especially if Clay’s image hasn’t been helpful to them.

  24. Pat
    June-3-2009 @ 10:47 pm

Now the posers are out too, spreading more of the swamp rats lies.

Do you low-life people have nothing more to do with your life?

Once again - here’s the website bubelaiken.org - go donate some money to a good cause. Maybe it will make you feel better about yourselves.

    Faye: Proof please.

  26. Pat
    June-3-2009 @ 10:50 pm

    Greta

The issue is not that the foundation has been planning on changing the name. It’s been in the plannin stages for over a year.

Clay, himself, wanted his name off of it so it could stand alone with his name as a celebrity on it.

The problem is that the name change has not been officially announced yet BY the foundation itself.

Clay’s stalker found out the information and is now giving the information to various sources.

THAT is the real problem. That this man who has been causing trouble for Clay Aiken for over three years has the audaciaty to give this information out when he has no right to.

  27. Jennifer
    June-3-2009 @ 10:51 pm

Greta, except you are leaving out a very important part of the story. CLAY initiated the name change. HE wants the foundation to have a name that correlates to the cause.

  28. Pat
    June-3-2009 @ 10:52 pm

To clarify my above post - Clay wanted it to stand alone WITHOUT his name on it.

Sometimes my brain is thinking faster than my fingers type. :)

  29. Greta
    June-3-2009 @ 10:59 pm

So you Claymates are now pissed because according to you Clay wasn’t removed, he fired or demoted himself? It had nothing to do with the “downturn in contributions”? Is that it?

You want him to get credit for removing his name because his image isn’t good for the charity anymore?

  30. Mike
    June-3-2009 @ 11:01 pm

The only thing winning in this war of words is this blog site that is getting more hits in one night than they usually get in a week.

What a shame that they are making money on telling lies.

  31. Ralph
    June-3-2009 @ 11:02 pm

    Who gives a shit?

  32. Pat
    June-3-2009 @ 11:04 pm

    Greta,

He didn’t fire or demote himself, and there has been no downturn in contributions.

He talked about changing the name over a year ago, maybe two years ago, because he didn’t want to have to rely on contributions because of his celebrity/name.

The current name is The BubelAiken Foundation and is being changed to something that doesn’t have his name in it and that will better reflect what the mission of the foundation is.

With the name BubelAiken, folks who don’t know Clay will not know what the foundation is about. With the new name, it will be more evident.

  33. Mike
    June-3-2009 @ 11:04 pm

Give it up, Greta…..you are trying to twist words and that is all.

Bottom line……….the headline is a lie.

Clay’s foundation is not losing money

    He has not been demoted

And except on the gossip sites, Clay’s reputation has not gone down.

And, you can try and twist all you want, but its a losing cause.

  34. June-3-2009 @ 11:08 pm

Claymates really need to relax and accept the fact that they have no control any more. No one listen to them. I will say right here and right now that I did not give this information to Faded Youth. I will also join others in saying that I do not believe Clay was dropped from his charity, although it has been said that the mother of the son whose name is also on the foundation is said to have requested that it be removed and this may have prompted the name change.

Paulus (aka CREEPY NUTSO STALKER), take your story back to your swamp. You are full of shit. You are a liar, a sociopath, a failed porn star, a thumbdick, an opportunist and a WHORE. You’ve been lying for 3 years so give it up.

    June-3-2009 @ 11:43 pm

While you have your silly gossip the tragic thing about this lie is that it might negatively impact the children that have benefitted from the wonderful work that the Bubel Aiken Foundation has done . My little boy who has CP has enjoyed the experience of summer camp the last two years thanks to the foundation . He made new friends and took part in activities that he had never had the chance to do before . Diane Bubel and Clay Aiken are the heart of this organizatrion . I pray for their continued success in spite of the sleazy people who participate on sites like this one .

  39. Dan
    June-4-2009 @ 1:23 am

A simple name change is all it is. National Inclusion Project actually says what the charity is about, Bubel/Aiken didn’t. Plus Bube/Aiken was always mispronounced. Sad that someones trying to discredit a foundation that doses so much good for children.

  40. Ribit
    June-4-2009 @ 6:44 am

Very interesting. John Paulus does not deny being Clay Aiken’s stalker. No one mentioned his name but they did talk about Clay’s “stalker” giving the information out and then John Paulus comes on and answers that he didn’t do it.

It is really sad when hate tries to damage an charity that helps children. Sad, indeed. Only the lowest of the low would do something like that.

OH, Brother- If you even bothered to check out the Clayboard and/or Clay’s fan club you would have found out CLAY, himself, has wanted this name-change for some time. Clay, himself, has even asked his fans to come up with possible new names. He thought his name should NOT be on the title anymore to more define what the foundation is all about. And to those who belittle his fans for setting the record straight-what do you want us to do?? Allow articles like this, full of falsehoods, to continue???? What a bunch of idiots you are.

How stupid is this particular blog and its owner? If you don’t have the intelligence to get the facts straight on a simple story like this one, I suspect that all of your other blogs are full of bogus information as well. Sorry I clicked on it. That’s a mistake I won’t be repeating. It’s a shame that the internet gives people like Greta, who have zero skill when it comes to separating fact from fiction, an opportunity to make people even more ignorant than they already are. For the folks reading this, forget about reading Greta’s blog if it’s factual information you’re seeking — about anything — because you won’t find it here.

Since the new name was registered on May 18, 2009, and Clay had asked for his fans’ suggestions for a new name, wonder why he never bothered to tell his fans the new name. They alway seem to be about the last to know.

  50. Sam
    June-4-2009 @ 1:34 pm

The fans have known about the name change for a long time. Clay said last week they had decided on the new name and a formal announcement would be made shortly.

Saying the fans are the last to know is total B.S. Clay’s fans were and are respecting the right of the foundation to make their own announcement.

Clay Aikens future has tanked..he is the laughing stock of late night tv..he’s nothing but a flaming QUEEN…he only has about 700-1200 internet fans left..when you check out the 3 main clay-boards what do you see?..Only about 75-200 fans on line..

Clay Aiken Continues With Charity While Scary Stalker Spreads Lies

To try to be as clear as could be, to the best of my knowledge the Bubel/Aiken Foundation is not – not – dropping Clay Aiken, that story being slightly more than fabricated, however, the foundation is undergoing an update, a rebranding of sort, and to that point Aiken is attempting to create more attention upon the charity itself, instead of on himself. The story of Aiken being removed from the charity, as I suggested Wednesday, was and is an outright falsity, apparently concocted by a scary stalker in an effort to discredit Aiken, while at the same time, perhaps unwittingly, damaging the reputation and role of the Foundation. The charity was founded in 2003 to offer opportunities and support to children living with disabilities, including autism. And as an aside, it seems perfectly cruel to play with the good work this or any charity organization does only in a vain and vague attempt to humiliate someone. For further information on the Foundation, you can click here.

I’m not surprised. Kelly is really the only idol who continues to shine. She is the only true American idol. (Adam is well on his way). Clay, on the other hand, is in the news all the time for his mistakes. Ugh! He needs to go back to NC and bag groceries.

    ShannonK:

It’s no surprise that a nutbar like you would show up. You’ve been at this hate-mongering since 2003 when Clay eclipsed Kelly in popularity. Let me ’splain the facts of life to you…Kelly would be nowhere without the big bucks 19 puts behind her and that’s only because she won the first contest. Now why don’t you better spend your time figuring out a way to get ahead in life and get out of that converted garage you’re living in. Some therapy would also help. And stop trying to stuff yourself into your teen daughter’s mini skirts in order to impress Kelly. You look ridiculous.

  55. Mike
    June-4-2009 @ 6:01 pm

Bill……your post says so much about you. First, you want us to think you are homophobic….next, the only way you could make a statement of how many fans Clay has if you go to his boards. Too bad you don’t check out how many people come on-line when Clay blogs or answers questions on his board. Of course, there are all the private boards that you can’t visit that have hundreds of fans.

Tell me why you are so hateful? I would really like to understand. If you don’t like Clay, leave him alone. It would never occur to me to post hateful things about a celebrity I don’t like. I would just ignore them.

YOU NEED A NEW FACT CHECKER !

I am no longer a die hard Clay fan but right is right and you are wrong with most of your story.

They did not kick him to the curb….. that sounds pretty stupid when he himself has been discussing it plenty and everyone on the board is either a relative or very good friend of Clay’s.

  62. Vickie
    August-5-2009 @ 6:33 pm

Considering the press release that was issued today, the blog at Clay’s own fan club, the Youtube commercial with Clay’s own voice, and the letter written by both him and Diane Bubel that appears on the new site, you should print a retraction.

Clay had been talking about this in meet and greets since 2007. In fact, he said then that HE wanted to change the name, but he had to get the board of directors to agree to it first. He even posted at the fan club, asking the fans for suggestions for the new name.
