What a vacation without a little shopping?

After spending her first few days soaking up the sun aboard a private luxury yacht, Eva Longoria finally ventured off into the city today (June 3) as she enjoyed an afternoon of retail therapy in Saint-Tropez.

And while she may be indulging herself along the French Riviera, it appears that the Desperate Housewives actress’ heart is elsewhere.

Eva is among a slew of A-list actresses who are helping raise money for the victims of the deadly earthquake that struck Italy in April by auctioning off their designer purses.

She is joining forces with celebrities including Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Demi Moore and Jennifer Aniston as they sign and donate their Salvatore Ferragamo handbags to community charity Global Giving.

The auction began yesterday on eBay and ends on June 12.
