SUSAN BOYLE’S TREATMENT COULD “TAKE WEEKS”

the-priory

Susan Boyle continues to recover at the Priory clinic in North London after suffering physical and mental exhaustion, but her star is continuing to rise.

Barack and Michelle Obama have reportedly invited the British songbird to sing at the White House, says her brother John, as part of July 4 celebrations. Su-Bo is said to be looking forward to the Washington event though t’s unclear whether she has accepted the invitation.

Susan was expected to leave the clinic today (June 3), but a new story in the Telegraph says doctors think her treatment could take “weeks.” Her White House invitation is the second from the Obamas after she was asked to attend a dinner in May but was too busy to attend.

Meanwhile, neighbours continued to put up banners anticipating Susan’s return from the mental health clinic to her home in Blackburn, West Lothian, Scotland. This one below is edged with “The Pride of Scotland” tartan.

Vultures sitting outside a hospital for a woman who’s nearly had a breakdown. Shame on all you fuckers.

I think its disrespectful to her (or any well known person) while she’s in a hospital, but also to just the regular people who happen to be going in. They dont need the added stress of paps.

    She’s probably getting a facelift.

I like her and wish her the best, but I honestly think she has some mental problems dating back to childhood. It might explain a bit why she’s been so cloistered her whole life. Maybe the treatment, therapy and some meds will do wonders for her. Hope so!

Chicken cutlets, I couldn’t have said it better!

It’s terrible that people camp outside hospitals and rehab centres to catch a glimpse of celebrities. I thought the photos of Shanna Moakler leaving the hopsital in tears after seeing Travis Barker were terrible as were all the rehab shots of Lindsay and Britney. There’s got to be a limit somewhere. I think she is just upset that she didn’t win and wants to be left alone. It would be sterrible to be built up by the media so much and then to not win. I feel sorry for the group that actually won, because all the attention is still on Susan Boyle!

The group that won should NOT have won. I watched their performance. Was NOT impressed, esp to win over Susan Boyle.

I don’t think she’s a sore loser, I do think she has something not quite right about her. But clearly has an amazing gift. Leave her alone!

Hairball, I agree. They sucked! It’s very odd how poorly British dancers rate against U.S. dancers. I’ve seen a few of their talent programs involving dancers and am always scratching my head. I’m not saying that to be mean either, the disparity is pretty obvious.

Hairball, they’ve already said she had developmental/learning issues as a child and the other kids called her ’stupid’ and stuff. That’s probably where the ‘not quite right’ vibe comes from. I think it’s disgusting that the paps could post up outside a clinic where she’s receiving treatment. Just shameful….
